Federal Trade Commission Chair Andrew Ferguson spoke at [George Mason Law Review]'s 29th annual antitrust symposium in Arlington, Virginia. He said the notion of independent federal agencies in the executive branch was "undemocratic" and said he supports President Trump in the pending Supreme Court case, [Trump v. Slaughter], which addressed the legality of Trump firing Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter from the Federal Trade Commission.
