CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Paddleboarders swept out to sea in Florida

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office, New Port Richey Police Department, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and U.S. Coast Guard were all dispatched for a water rescue call on June 16 in Florida. Two individuals were paddleboarding when they were swept away and unable to get back to shore. The PSO Aviation Unit quickly located the two individuals by air and coordinated with the NPR Marine unit for a successful rescue.
