Kochi: The weekend has turned suffocating for Kochi city dwellers as a major fire broke out at the solid waste treatment plant in Brahmapuram, near Kochi. Many residents have sought medical aid for suffocation and other health issues that was caused by the dense smoke arose from Brahmapuram, which has spread across the city. The smoke is likely to last for two to three days.
