Sen. Patrick Leahy Denies Funding for Border Emergency

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) said June 11 that Republicans must accept some Democratic political priorities before Democrats will approve a $4.5 billion request to fund agencies' management of the Central American migration into the United States.
