Chalakudy: The protests over the delay in the reconstruction of Karuvannoor-Arattupuzha road, which was destroyed in the recent floods, have intensified. Though Rs 35 lakh was allotted for the work three months ago, nothing has been don, say locals. As the work is yet to be completed, the traffic along the road has come to a standstill.
