Jasmine Crockett claimed a knife wasn’t a “deadly weapon” in a staggering series of misstatements about the Karmelo Anthony murder case on her podcast this week, drawing widespread criticism for playing fast and loose with the facts. On Tuesday’s episode of “Clock It with Crockett,” the failed Texas Senate candidate let loose a torrent of inaccuracies to paint a picture of the brutal slaying of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf that had virtually no basis in reality. “Well I would argue the size of it alone you wouldn’t even think it’s a deadly weapon," said Crockett.
