[Rethinking Reform: Prisons in America]

[Rethinking Reform: Prisons in America] was the first-prize high school west division winner in C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam documentary contest. The video was produced by Daniela Mock-Zubia and Sofia Taglienti. Both are students at Metropolitan Arts Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, where Ms. Mock-Zubia is a twelfth grader and Ms. Taglienti a tenth grader. The local cable provider was Cox Communications. C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. The 2016 theme was "Road to the White House," with students answering the question, "What issues do you want presidential candidates to discuss?"
