After flooding near Brookmans Park and throughout Hertfordshire, two people were rescued from a car on January 14, 2021. Fire engines from Potters Bar and water rescue from Hatfield helped the two people to safety on Warrengate Road near Bradmore Lane. Herts Fire said: "We are also aware of a number of other cars becoming stuck in the water, however, these haven’t needed our assistance."
