T'puram: IG Sreejith will probe the Neyyanttinkara murder case. The decision has been made considering the plea of deceased Sanal's family. The family has requested for a probe headed by an IPS officer. Presently, Crime Branch SP KM Antony is leading the investigation. Sanal’s wife Viji has earlier informed that she would file a plea in the High Court and also stage protest if her request was not considered. Sanal Kumar has lost his life as a vehicle rammed over him after Harikumar pushed him down following a verbal duel on Monday night. Following this, a case was registered against Harikumar and he was also suspended from the service. Currently, Harikumar and his friend Binu are in abscond. The Crime Branch has arrested Satheesh, who gave the accused sim cards, on Sunday from Tamil Nadu.
