Kenyan runners dominated the 2025 New York City Marathon on Sunday, with Benson Kipruto claiming the men’s race and Hellen Obiri setting a record in the the women’s event. Sunday’s event marks the 54th running of the race, which starts in Staten Island, weaves into Brooklyn and Queens, touches the southern tip of The Bronx, and ends in Manhattan’s Central Park.
