Delhi Police Special Cell claimed to have busted a Pakistan-organised terror module with links to Dawood Ibrahim by arresting 6 suspects, two of whom allegedly received training in Pakistan. Police claimed that the two were taken to Pakistan via Muscat where they were trained in explosives &firearms including AK-47 for 15 days. The cops claimed that the terror module was planning to carry out targeted killings and bomb blasts in the country. Police claimed that the module members had formed 2 teams, of which one was being coordinated by Dawood Ibrahim's brother,Anees Ibrahim and was tasked to get the arms into India from across the border.
