Joao Felix could make his second Chelsea debut against Wolves on Sunday 25 August as head coach Enzo Maresca tipped the returning forward to be a standout addition amongst a glut of new faces at Stamford Bridge. Felix completed his return to the club on Wednesday, signing a seven-year contract – 15 months after he last played for the Blues on loan – with the Portugal forward’s arrival from Atletico Madrid helping facilitate Conor Gallagher’s move in the opposite direction. He was unable to feature for Chelsea against Servette in the Europa Conference League playoff 24 hours later, but could be in line to face Wolves in the Premier League.
