December sees consumerism surge everywhere. With new toys and products constantly emerging, it's hard to get your hands on that specific one. Different cultures have different wants, and The Toy Zone has discovered what are 2023’s favorite toys based on average monthly searches. Then, using a location quotient, they determined each country’s most specifically popular item. At number five are L.O.L Surprises, being the most wanted toy in broad-ranging countries such as Venezuela, Bulgaria and Malaysia. The fourth favorite toy in the world is Bratz dolls. These classic fashionistas are hugely popular in countries such as Mexico, Albania and Montenegro. Next is the old-fashioned yo-yo which was regularly searched in multiple countries like Luxembourg, Oman, Vietnam and Ecuador. On par with yo-yo's are Barbie Dolls - no surprise for 2023, the year of Barbiemania. Most popular in Haiti, Botswana and The Congo. The most popular toy in the world in 2023 is Ludo; a classic strategy board game topping the charts in 20 different countries including Togo and Nepal.
