London’s Kew Gardens says over half of its 11,000 trees could die by 2090 due to warmer weather and drought triggered by climate change. Scientists used weather data, climate predictions and testing on current trees to model future scenarios. They found 54% of species are under threat, including the English oak and holly trees.
