New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate has filed charge sheet against former Union minister P Chidambaram in the Aircel-Maxis money laundering case. He is the first accused in the case. The CBI has also filed charge sheet in the case before. The court will consider the charge sheet on Novemeber 26. Nine accused, excluding Chidambaram, have been named in the charge sheet. The Patilia House Court has directed CBI and Enforcement Directorate not to arrest Chidambaram and his son till Nov 1st. The term of Enforcement Directorate Chief Karnal Singh is due to end tomorrow and it was in this regard, the ED has filed the charge sheet.
