Footage shows clashes that erupted in the Isawiya area of East Jerusalem in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The area in East Jerusalem is predominantly home to Palestinian residents, and part of the West Bank territory of Palestine, whereas West Jerusalem is held by Israel. The long-running territorial and religious conflict flared up on Saturday, October 7 when Hamas, the governing part of the Gaza Strip, launched an air, land, and sea assault on Israel.
