Alecia Beth Moore is an American singer/songwriter better known as PINK. After starting her career as part of the girl-band “Choice”, Pink hit pay dirt in 2000 with the album, “Can’t Take Me Home.” After going double-platinum with two Top 10 singles, her second album racked up sales of over 13 million and included three number ones. Pink’s third album won the first of three Grammy Awards, and her fourth, fifth and sixth albums rose to the top of the Billboard charts. Blessed with a voice that Kelly Clarkson said is “the best of our generation,” Pink says she got her inspiration from Madonna, Janis Joplin, Billy Joel, and Whitney Houston. Pink may be known for powerhouse vocals, but she is also well-known for her fashion and hairstyles. She is involved with several charities, and married pro motocross racer Carey Hart in 2006. Together they have two children—a girl and a boy.
