'Make me 'A category' citizen': How Owaisi rejected 'Z‘ security; Watch Minister's response

AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has rejected the Z category security provided to him by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Lok Sabha. Speaking in Lok Sabha, Owaisi claimed that he did not fear death and the priority of the central government should be to make everyone feel like an A category citizen first. The security was provided to him following attack on his convoy on February 3 in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur while he was returning to Delhi after attending election-related events in Meerut. 2 people have been arrested after 3-4 rounds were fired at his car. Calling his attackers terrorists, Owaisi demanded that the accused be charged with UAPA. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will give a detailed reply in Lok Sabha on the issue on February 7.
