Alappuzha: The Government provided a financial assistance of Rs. 3.72 crore to promote vegetable cultivation in Alappuzha. This is in addition to the assistance provided to paddy farmers post floods. Earlier, three lakh seed packets were distributed to the farmers as part of 'Onathinoru Muram Pachakari' project.
