Kannur: Though the rains have lessened, the natives at Kottiyoor continue to live in a state of fear. After large cracks had been noticed, the land at Kandapanam, Nelliady had caved in by almost two meters. Families living here are being rehabilitated. If it rains again, chances are high for another landslide. The residents at Nelliady continue to remain in a dangerous situation.
