Mandatory credit: Northern Ireland Executive Health Minister Robin Swann addressed a Stormont press conference saying 106 Covid-19 patients were in hospital but warned appeals may be falling on too many deaf ears and undermined by too many self-appointed experts. He said recent warnings of the health consequences were unfortunately coming true. Blaming a small complacent minority, Mr Swann said it “beggars belief quite frankly” that some object to wearing face coverings in shops.
