Hugh Jackman asserts that he 'Fully Intended' to retire as Wolverine

Hugh Jackman says Wolverine’s appearance in the upcoming “Deadpool 3” won’t disrupt the timeline set in 2017’s “Logan,” which saw the character die.Jackman told SiriusXM that his return depended on not altering the events of the ”Logan” timeline, “which was important to me, and I think probably to the fans, too.”“It’s all because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines,” Jackman said. “Now we can go back because, you know, it’s science.”In a short video announcing the film, “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds noted that “Logan” takes place in 2029. “Not touching that,” he said.It remains unclear whether Jackman will be playing a new Wolverine from elsewhere in the multiverse, or the familiar Wolverine at an earlier point in time.
