Ukraine War: India warns Russia & the West to exercise restraint; Worry over 20k stranded Indians

A massive escalation by Russia in Ukraine has sent shockwaves across the world. Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared a full fledged war on Ukraine, and authorised military operations in separatist regions of east Ukraine. Taking a hard stand on the issue, India has now warned both Russia and Ukraine and advised to exercise restraint. India's permanent representative to the United Nations, TS Tirumurti in his address called for immediate de-escalation, refraining from further action that worsens Russia-Ukraine crisis. Meanwhile, he also said that India was taking all steps to ensure the safety of its 20,000 citizens, including students stranded in Ukraine. Watch this video for more details.
