This NYC hiker is on a mission to walk everywhere for 30 days

A Brooklyn hiking enthusiast with dreams of one day tackling the nation’s highest mountains is carving his own trail through the concrete jungle this month — and has already racked up nearly 300 miles across Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. Benjamin Solomon is just a week shy of finishing up his “Thru-Hike to Nowhere,” a homemade challenge that relies on his own two feet as his sole means of transportation for 30 long days.
