LA County’s massive vote-counting center reveals seas of empty chairs as 713,000 ballots remain outstanding. The Post visited the county’s 144,000-square-foot ballot processing facility June 4, as workers tackled an estimated 713,180 outstanding ballots. The county announced June 3 that it had processed a mere 77,521 additional ballots since Election Night, bringing the total count to 1,395,987 ballots.
