Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger urged Tottenham striker Harry Kane to run down his contract and leave the club for free. Despite being Premier League's second-highest goal-scorer, Kane has yet to win a trophy at his boyhood club. At 29 years old and with 14 months left on his contract, Wenger believes now is the time for the Englishman to move on. Wenger told beIN Sports that if he was Kane’s agent, he would tell him to “give your club a last chance and then go." With such little time left on his deal, Tottenham risks losing their star man for nothing next summer if he decides to seek a new challenge. While Kane's commitment to Spurs is admirable, "in the end it's always about money," said Wenger. In an interview with Sky Sports, Kane opened up about his frustrations in north London, insisting a cultural overhaul is needed at the club. Wenger read between the lines, insisting that Kane is fast approaching the end of his tether with Tottenham. "Translated, it means not everybody gives the maximum to perform. Is it down to the character of players or the whole atmosphere? I don’t know," he added.
