Woman Who Allegedly Inspired ‘Baby Reindeer’ Says She’s "The Victim"

A woman who claims she’s the inspiration for Netflix's 'Baby Reindeer' is slamming the creator for portraying their relationship inaccurately. Speaking with the Daily Mail Online, the woman, who was not named, shared she is considering taking legal action against Richard Gadd. Gadd reportedly penned the series based on his own experience with a stalker. The woman told the outlet she’s both shocked and disgusted that Gadd is using their relationship to make a name for himself. "He's using 'Baby Reindeer' to stalk me now. I'm the victim. He's written a bloody show about me,” she stated. The Daily Mail Online reports that this middle-aged woman shares many “key similarities” with Martha, Gadd’s stalker in the series. They also stated the unidentified woman bears an "uncanny physical resemblance" to Martha, played by Jessica Gunning.
