India unites to applaud Covid-19 warriors from balconies amid janta curfew

Amid the voluntary 'janta curfew', people collected on their balconies or rooftops to applaud those at the frontline of the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic. Visuals from across the country showed people clapping, singing, shouting, blowing conches, or banging their utensils to show support for doctors and sanitation workers battling the pandemic. PM Modi had appealed to people to encourage essential service providers in this manner. Covid-19 cases have crossed 365 in India.
