Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) held a news conference on President Trump's reaction to and the Pentagon's announcement of an investigation of Senator Kelly and several other Democratic lawmakers over a video in which they reminded troops not to follow illegal orders. Senator Kelly stated, "President Trump is trying to silence me, threatening to kill me for saying what is true. And he sent his secretary of defense after me. And it's not going to work."
