Rahul Easwar Arrested Again| Mathrubhumi News

Kochi: Rahul Easwar has been arrested yet again for his controversial remarks on the Sabarimala issue. He was arrested on Sunday morning from his residence at Nanthancode in Thiruvananthapuram. The Kochi City Police have booked a case against him for his statement made at the press meet held at Ernakulam Press Club that there were about a few people who were waiting to cut their own hands and spill blood in Sabarimala, if any women between the ages of 10 and 50 entered the temple. Police arrested him on the complaint that he called for a riot in Sabarimala. The complaint noted that Rahul used to spread hatred and communalism among people. He is booked under section 153 A of IPC. Rahul was earlier booked under Section 117 and Section 153A of IPC. Rahul Easwar had been leading protests against the Supreme Court verdict allowing the entry of women of all ages into the temple.
