Anna Wintour has elected four co-chairs for the 2024 Met Gala, which is set to take place on May 6 in New York City. Wintour will be reigning over the fashion event of the year alongside Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Lopez. This blend has some of the biggest names in fashion, music, and cinema, and although three of them are Met regulars, this will be Hemsworth's first time. The 2024 Met Gala will be Bad Bunny’s third, Lopez’s fourteenth and Zendaya’s sixth. The last time the 'Euphoria' star attended the Met Gala was in 2019, with the theme "Camp: Notes on Fashion." This year’s theme will honor the "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" exhibition, with the event’s dress code being “The Garden of Time.” Speaking with Vogue, the exhibition’s curator, Andrew Bolton, said, “It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion.”
