YouTuber Yung Filly Arrested Over Alleged Sexual Assault & Rape

British YouTube star and rapper Yung Filly has been arrested in Australia on suspicion of sexual assault and rape. The 29-year-old YouTuber, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in his hotel after a performance in Bar1, Perth. Barrientos was first detained in Brisbane and then extradited interstate to Perth. He has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, and three counts of assault. The rapper has also been charged with one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck. Barrientos was granted bail with conditions that prohibit him from posting about the case on social media or contacting the alleged victim. Photos of the woman's injuries were also provided to the magistrate, but not shown to the court.  "Across her body is a history of violent acts, … we say those photos and what is alleged is beyond the pale, beyond what could be considered to be a consensual act," said the prosecutor.  Barrientos must remain in Western Australia, report to the police daily, and provide a personal $100,000 cash surety. Yung Filly started his YouTube channel in 2013, and has become one of the biggest influencers in the UK, with 8 million followers across all platforms. The social media star, frequently seen alongside popular YouTuber Chunkz, has also hosted the BBC Three show 'Hot Property' and appeared on 'The Great Celebrity Bake Off.'
