Elon Musk's brain-implant company Neuralink has been given the green light for its first-in-human clinical trial. The Food and Drug Administration has finally agreed to let the company test on humans after previously rejecting it. Neuralink aims to cure a range of conditions, including obesity, autism and depression. It's also interested in introducing web browsing and telepathy. Neuralink says it will announce more information, including news on recruitment for the project, soon. Neuralink is currently under investigation by the Department of Agriculture and Transport for possible malpractices. US lawmakers have also previously suggested probing the company for botching experiments on animals.
