Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) and FBI Director Kash Patel spoke to reporters about the apprehension of the suspect in the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. They announced Utah resident Tyler Robinson had been arrested thanks to information provided to authorities by a family friend who was contacted by a family member of Robinson's. They detailed the evidence provided by said family friend and took questions from reporters. Cox said a bullet casing with "Catch this, fascist" engraved on it should indicate the political leaning and motive of the suspect.
