The U.S. Coast Guard and Orange County Sherrff's department are searching for Wesley Alan MacFarland, 47, who was reported missing near Newport Harbor. MacFarland was reportedly swimming in the area before he was reported missing to the sheriff's office at at approximately 7:45 a.m.
