Exploring Mental Health in Agriculture | Full Webinar

The importance of good mental health has been brought into sharp focus in recent weeks and for those working in agriculture, it has been a matter of increasing concern for some time. According to the Farm Safety Foundation, last year 84% of farmers under 40 believed poor mental health was the biggest danger facing the sector. As one of the most agriculturally productive regions in the UK, the wellbeing of those working in the farming industry in the East of England and further afield is essential. Hosted by Archant and Lloyds Banking Group, our panellists from farming and mental health organisations, and those with experience in the matter – either indirectly or at first hand, will explore the pressures putting farmers at greater risk of ill health, and discuss what more needs to be done to raise awareness. Panellists include: Melinda Raker - YANA George Freeman - MP Mid-Norfolk Victoria Prentis - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State DEFRA Jon Duffy - CEO The AF Group Stuart Roberts - Stuart Roberts Matt Hubbard - Lloyds Banking Group’s Ambassador for the East of England Sally Storr - Counsellor with YANA Host - Neil Perry
