Dhoni announced his retirement through a social media post. “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired,” the caption read. Dhoni had made his international debut in December 2004 against Bangladesh. Dhoni retires as Indian cricket’s most successful captain in limited-over internationals. Dhoni is 5th in the list of India’s all-time run-scorers in ODI.
