Pete Buttigieg Can't Answer Which Issue Is Most Important to Him

Former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg was stumped Thursday evening by a question at a CNN town hall in New Hampshire when asked what issue would be most important to him as president. After fumbling for a response, Buttigieg fell back on arguing that "the shape of our democracy" was most important because it was connected to every other issue. His campaign later released a meme on Twitter celebrating his response.
