Tuesday in front of the Supreme Court, Walt Heyer, a former transgender woman explained how his grandmother’s guidance led him to change his sex, a decision he later regretted. “I was just a confused boy,” he said, stating he later learned that those identifying with “gender identity disorder had mental disorders, body dysmorphia, bipolar disorders,” etc. “[We should] reach out to those [confused] people and actually guide them in the right direction, and not fill their bodies with hormones, and cut body parts off, and rearrange everything in the life so their life is totally destroyed.”
