Secy. of State Rubio Testifies on Venezuela

Secretary of State Marco Rubio testified on President Trump's military actions in Venezuela and other foreign affairs issues during an oversight hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Topics included the seizure of oil tankers near Venezuela, U.S. involvement with NATO, Greenland, and Iran. In addition, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) voiced concerns about the constitutionality of the president's actions in Venezuela and the need to consult Congress. "If a foreign country bombed our air defense missiles, captured and removed our President, and blockaded our country, would that be considered an act of war?" asked Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).
