Incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms held a joint campaign rally in Savannah. Both criticized Republicans, including President Donald Trump, for their policy decisions. Senator Ossoff was running for re-election against GOP U.S. Senate nominee Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) in a race the Cook Political Report with Amy Walter rated as "Lean Democratic." Senator Ossoff said that Rep. Collins was "a bigot and an antisemite under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax dollars." Ms. Bottoms, running against Republican nominee Rick Jackson in an open race to replace the term-limited Gov. Brian Kemp (R), said her opponent, Republican nominee Rick Jackson, "has been making a profit off the people of Georgia. His fortune is filled in part with your tax dollars."
