President Trump said Friday that he’s considering a “friendly takeover of Cuba” — saying that Secretary of State Marco Rubio is working on negotiations with Communist authorities on the island. “The Cuban government is talking with us. They’re in a big deal of trouble, as you know. They have no money. They have no anything right now, but they’re talking with us, and maybe we’ll have a friendly takeover of Cuba,” Trump told reporters as he left the White House for a trip to Texas.
