A team of Girl Scouts test out their ham radio equipment in East Sacramento on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, they built in partnership with the River City Amateur Radio Communications Society, to talk with astronauts on the International Space Station next week. The group was one of 11 educational institutions selected in the nation for The National Aeronautics and Space Administration STEM program.
