Sir Ian McKellen has recently expressed willingness to reprise his role as Gandalf in the rumored 'Lord of The Rings' reboot, but says filmmakers "better be quick". In an interview with Big Issue magazine, McKellen says that while he's been informed of the potential movies, he says no script has been written just yet. "I’ve just been told there are going to be more films and Gandalf will be involved and they hope that I’ll be playing him. When? I don’t know. What the script is? It’s not written yet. So they better be quick!", Ian McKellen. The 85-year-old actor recently went through a health scare after falling off stage during a performance of Shakespeare’s 'Henry IV' in London. McKellen was hospitalized after the incident and says that while he has convinced himself that it was just an accident, he acknowledges that his age was likely a factor. McKellen also revealed that he will be taking the rest of the year off, but assured Big Issue that this is a personal choice and not a necessity.
