When Major Brent Taylor was killed in Afghanistan on Saturday, November 3, 2018, it sparked an overwhelming community response. It is a testament to how he lived. Taylor chose to live his life with an absolute commitment to God, family and country; it was a life of service and sacrifice. Those priorities led him into the military, to seek public office and defined his life as a servant of God. He firmly believed that every life has a purpose.
