Congratulations to Shayaan Yousuf from Jerry Knight STEM Academy in Mansfield, Texas who won 2nd Prize in the Middle School Division for his video titled, "The Unfinished Promise," about how the Declaration of Independence's promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness was tested during the Great Depression, renewed through Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal, and continues to shape America's ongoing struggle to create opportunity, dignity, and equality. His documentary will air on C-SPAN on Thursday, April 9.
