Jelly Roll Says Cannabis Keeps Him "Sober" From Harder Drugs

In a recent interview with Taste of Country, singer Jelly Roll admitted that marijuana has helped stop him from using harder drugs.  "I think a world without weed, Jelly Roll’s drinking codeine and popping Xanax and snorting cocaine again, but a world with weed, I’ll be alright," said the country star during the interview.  The singer credited marijuana with helping with his anxiety and battling his past struggles with addiction. Jelly Roll added, "This is a hot button topic, but, truly, marijuana has kept me sober." The 39-year-old convicted drug dealer has been an advocate against fentanyl and has campaigned against its distribution.  In January, Jelly Roll urged the Senate Urban Affairs Committee to take action against the supply and distribution of the drug.
