Ex-college wrestler accused of killing gymnast girlfriend claims he shot 8 times her in self defense: report

The Illinois man suspected of killing UW-Whitewater gymnast Kara Welsh said she grabbed his gun during an argument and he shot Welsh fearing for his own life. Welsh was shot eight times.
