India: Venomous cobra causes panic in diamond office in central India, captured after intense effort

Swift action by the SDERF and a snake expert averted potential disaster as the snake was captured and later released into the wild. The incident took place at the Diamond Office located within the Collectorate campus in Panna district on October 4. Visuals showed inside the office, chaos reigned as furniture, files, and other items lay scattered all over the place. Desks were overturned, papers were strewn across the floor, and shelves had been cleared in the frantic search for the snake. The team had been combing through the office for a long time, carefully checking every corner and crevice. Finally, after much effort, the snake was spotted, coiled behind some upturned files. One of the rescue team members, moving cautiously, approached the snake with steady hands. Using a special tool, he skillfully guided the snake into a box, sealing it safely. The entire process was tense, but the team managed to contain the snake without harm. Employees at the Diamond Office in the Collectorate campus were going about their routine work when they were shocked by the sudden appearance of a venomous cobra. The snake slithered into the office and hid among various office supplies, files, and boxes filled with precious diamonds. ׋ As soon as the employees noticed the large venomous snake, panic spread through the office. The staff quickly informed the SDERF (State Disaster Emergency Response Force) and a local snake expert, who arrived promptly to deal with the situation. The snake expert, with the help of the SDERF team, undertook a challenging operation to safely capture the cobra. After a tense and laborious effort, the expert successfully managed to trap the dangerous snake inside a container. The cobra was then transported and released back into the wild. The snake expert commented on the danger, stating that the venomous cobra could have caused serious harm or even death if anyone had been bitten. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. ࣃ This is not the first time a venomous snake has been found in the Collectorate. Previously, a poisonous snake was discovered in a flowerpot outside the Collector's chamber, raising concerns about the increasing number of snake sightings in the area.
