Trouble for Uddhav: Floor test likely as 47 MLAs back Eknath Shinde; Threat to Pawar?

Trouble mounts for Uddhav Thackeray as the fall of Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra nears. NCP President Sharad Pawar hinted at a floor test as he claimed that the Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP coalition in Maharashtra will emerge victorious in the trust vote. Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde camp continues to swell with 47 rebels in his fold - 37 Shiv Sena MLAs and 10 independent lawmakers. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has claimed threat to Sharad Pawar's life. Without taking a name, he said that a Union Minister had warned the NCP supremo against trying to save the MVA government in the state.
